Commercial Interior Design

Below are the two commercial office spaces that I have collaborated on.

Two very different styles of period buildings that required all new work stations and a complete redesign in most areas of the buildings.

Goulburn Art Deco Office Building

Working closely with the footprint of this historic art deco building in Goulburn, I had to refresh all conference rooms, create a much more communal staff kitchen and redo all work stations throughout the building.

The entire internal building was repainted in white to highlight the rich wood panelling seen throughout the building. I engaged a company to replace all work stations and working closely with my client I also refreshed all the conference rooms including furniture, rugs, light fittings and soft furnishings.

I also designed a new staff kitchen and dining space, removing a few walls to open up the area to encourage staff to engage and congregate  in a calm and practical space.

The overall art deco style of the building has now been rejuvenated and I'm sure all staff enjoy working in this historic building.

Surry Hills Church Hall Office Building

This Church Hall in Surry Hills was a great challenge for me. My client engaged me to create new work stations, conference rooms and break out spaces and a new kitchenette for his staff.

We completely repainted the building internally prior to laying new carpet and then finally adding all new work  stations to suit the upstairs cathedral like space.

Downstairs I created a new conference room and locker space plus a large open conference area for team meetings and lunches.

I am currently working with this client again as his business is expanding so we are currently reconfiguring the downstairs area to accomodate more work stations!
